What self care conversations do you have with yourself?
It’s my experience that self care is vital to living the lifestyle I desire. I’ve learned I can only be my best for me, my family, friends, and community when I focus on taking care of myself first. In addition, no matter where I am on my journey, I feel there’s always room to learn and improve.
For me this means making self care a priority on a daily basis. I eat healthy foods, avoiding the mainstream news, practicing optimism and mindfulness, spend as much time as possible in nature, incorporate movement, and celebrate all that life has to offer me with gratitude. One of my favorite ways to practice self care is getting out in nature and taking a walk. I also practice self love by being kind to myself during the process of continual learning and practicing. 🙂
